Blood And Hustle - Episode 7
Episode 7 – Street Crown
With every raid, every fight, Jay’s reputation grew. Boss T started treating him differently — not just like an errand boy, but like a soldier.
One evening, during a smoky meeting, Boss T announced: “From today, Jay go dey handle money runs.”
Murmurs filled the room. Older crew members shifted, clearly bitter. Jay felt the heat of their glares.
After the meeting, Baba G pulled him aside. “Be careful. Promotion dey sweet, but envy dey kill.”
Kunle was the first to congratulate him, slapping his back. “Guy, you don blow! From block rat to Boss T’s right hand!” But Jay caught the flicker of jealousy in his friend’s smile.
Days later, Jay collected his first cash run — millions stuffed into a duffel. For once, he felt powerful, trusted. But on the ride back, a rival gang tried to cut them off.
Jay managed to escape with the cash. The crew cheered his bravery, chanting his name.
But that night, Kunle whispered, “Boss T no trust you like that. He dey use you to test waters. Don’t forget yourself.”
Jay’s chest tightened. Was Kunle protecting him — or planting doubts?
In Boss T’s office, Jay spotted a ledger with his name circled in red.
