Uber Driver Shares Disturbing Account of Alleged Sexual Assault by Three Women in Kasoa

A Ghanaian Uber driver has shared a disturbing account of an alleged sexual assault involving three women, saying he was taken to an apartment in East Legon Hills after picking them up from the Kasoa area.

The driver, whose identity has not been publicly disclosed, reportedly spoke about the incident during an interview on Kasapa FM.

According to his account, the three women had requested a ride and, after arriving at their destination, invited him inside the apartment. He said they wanted him to know the location because they expected him to return and pick them up later.

However, he alleged that things changed after he entered the apartment.

The driver claimed that one of the women locked the door while the three allegedly began making unwanted physical advances toward him. He said he repeatedly indicated that he wanted to leave because he still had work to do.

He further alleged that the women overpowered him and subjected him to sexual activity against his will.

Driver says the experience left him distressed

After the alleged incident, the driver said he returned to his vehicle but was too emotionally and physically affected to continue working.

He reportedly slept inside his car for some time before eventually going home.

The driver also claimed that he later went to a police station to report what had happened. According to his account, however, he felt that his complaint was not taken seriously.

He alleged that some officers made comments suggesting that he should consider himself fortunate rather than treating the matter as a serious complaint.

The experience, he said, left him feeling humiliated and discouraged from seeking help through the police.

Alleged response from one of the women

During the radio discussion, one of the women was reportedly contacted by phone to respond to the driver's allegations.

According to reports of the interview, she disputed his characterization of the encounter and questioned why he would complain if he had allegedly shown signs of enjoyment during the encounter.

She also reportedly suggested that the women had previously had similar encounters with other men.

The claims attributed to the woman have not been independently verified.

The bigger conversation about male victims

The story has generated discussion about an issue that is often overlooked: men can also be victims of sexual violence.

Regardless of someone's gender, sexual activity should involve consent. Being physically stronger, being a man, or showing a physical reaction does not automatically mean that a person consented to sexual activity.

At the same time, the allegations in this particular case remain allegations. The identities of the women have not been established through an official source, and no independently verified police statement or court record confirming the incident was located in the reports reviewed for this article.

Any formal investigation would therefore be necessary to establish exactly what happened and whether a criminal offence occurred.

For now, the driver's account has reignited conversations about sexual assault, consent and the difficulties male victims can face when attempting to report such experiences.

Siricy will continue to distinguish between allegations and confirmed facts as more credible information becomes available.
